General Purpose:
Q. Whether a female candidate can enroll for B. Ed. / M. Ed. courses?
A. No. At present, only male candidates are eligible to apply to the courses.
Q. Whether a diploma course in elementary education is available?
A. Diploma in Elementary Education (D. El. Ed) course is not being offered presently.
Q. Whether the institution is residential?
A. Opting for residence is optional at present. Students may avail of our residential facilities. Process is available in the prospectus.
Q. Whether payment of admission fees through the portal is mandatory? Is direct bank transfer facility available?
A. At present, all admission fees are to be paid exclusively through the admission portal. No Direct Bank Transfers are allowed.
Q. Is there any provision for Railway Concession Pass from the institution?
A. No Railway Concession Pass is provided by the institution.

Q. What are the eligibility criteria for the B. Ed course?
A. Candidates with at least 50% marks in Bachelor’s Degree / Master’s Degree or any other qualification equivalent thereto are eligible to apply for admission to the Programme.
Q. What is the duration of the B. Ed course?
A. The B. Ed. course consists of 4 semesters of 2 years.
Q. What is the strength of the B. Ed course?
A. There are a total of 100 seats available for the B. Ed program.
M. Ed Related:
Q. Whether a candidate will be eligible for applying UGC NET in Education upon completion of M. Ed?
A. Yes, student may apply for UGC NET upon completion of the M. Ed course.
Q. What are the eligibility criteria for the M. Ed course?
A. A candidate seeking admission to the M.Ed. program should have secured at least 50% marks or equivalent grades in any of the B. Ed., B.A. B.Ed., B.Sc., B.Ed., B.El.Ed. or D.El.Ed. programs.
Q. Whether a two-year graduation holder can apply for the M. Ed. course?
A. A two-year graduate degree holder even with a master’s degree is not eligible to apply.
Q. Whether teachers of a Private Institution/College will be considered as Deputed teachers?
A. No. Only teachers of a Govt. Institution/College or Govt. aided Institution/College will be considered as Deputed teachers.
Q. What is the duration of the M. Ed Course?
A. The M. Ed. course consists of 4 semesters of 2 years.
Q. What is the strength of the College for the course?
A. At present, the number of available seats is 50 in the M. Ed. course as per the NCTE order.
Q. What about the Reservation Policy followed by the College for the admission Procedure in the Course?
A. The Reservation Policy of the institution is in accordance with the Govt. norms.
