A GENERAL PROFILE

Swami Vivekananda Study Circle has been running at Ramakrishna Mission Sikshanamandira.  This youth organ of this Autonomous Post-Graduate Teachers Training College has started its journey from August 2014. According to the teachings of Swamiji this journey is not mere from one territory to another but from human being to human resource.  Every Thursday Study Circle starts just at 7.30 p.m at Study Circle room and it continues up to 8.30 p.m by following manners------

 

i)7.30 p.m – Prayer

ii)7.40 p.m – Swadesh Mantra Chanting (Composed by Swami Vivekananda)

iii)7.40 to 8.10 p.m ---Reading and discussing the Text of Swamiji

iv)8.10 to 8.30 p.m --- Question-answer session.
 

Besides this, every Saturday morning all the member-brothers of Study Centre actively perform cleaning programme at the neighbouring areas of the college campus with the spirit of Social Service.  At present near about 20(twenty) Graduate and Post Graduate trainees participate in this Study Centre sincerely.  The Principal, Swami Tattwasaranandaji is very much interested about this Study Centre and he participates in every action actively.  All member-brothers of this Study Centre are determined to be committed citizens as well as perfect men which was only desire of Swami Vivekananda and that is urgently needed to our nation now.
 

Swami Vivekananda Study Centre has resource room where many valuable materials are well preserved and displayed also. We are proud to mention that the Controller of Examination of this Institution, Swami Divyagunanandaji is doing Ph.D programme on ‘educational status of Ramakrishna Mission of India’. It is a major educational research. It deals with all educational Institutions of Ramakrishna Mission across the country and data collection process is going on. The collected profuse information and documents about the same are well preserved by the member-brothers of the Vivekananda Study Centre. Besides this many photos of the cleaning activities of the member-brothers; inspiring messages of Swamiji; valuable books and the picture of Holy Trio--- have been preserved as well as displayed.
